too bad court isn't an option these days...most require arbitration which can be useless. best bet for him is try to get it in under the lemon law if issues still persist.

Are you not the one considering a GM product with the diesel? How you have lowered your standards since you believe Toyota has fallen.
Help yourself, sell your Toyota Tacoma death trap and go buy a GM product.

All car manufactures use "supplier's" Toyota specs the parts to be made so if they are not made to Toyota standards then they shouldn't be installing them...it's called quality control.

2.7 was and is a Fine motor I gave my 02 Preruner DC to my Son 1.5 years ago with 155K miles on it and its running like new at 220K I bought the 2016 with the 3.5 only because I have to start towing a car trailer but my 2.7 Never let me down. Side Bar: the 3.5 is not a new motor it has been used for the past 5 years mostly in the Lexus GS 350 but they detuned 27 HP out of it but kept the same Torque #'s

You mean to tell me car companies don't make every single nut, bolt, clip, connector, wire, component, seal...etc on every car and truck?!?!!!!! Blasphemy.

Since those Tacoma frames rusted 8-10 years later, seems like pretty shitty quality control huh? Sell all Tacomas and buy F150's STAT!
