Shit sorry, didn’t see your message. I’ll shoot you a PM
Hey Brett, actually sure. I’m going to use the front half for Phase 1 of my swap so the back half is up for grabs. It’s not in awesome shape but I’ll send you some photos.

I’m lookin’ for a charcoal steering wheel with little/very little wear to the rim. The one in my 2003 DC (which is in fact out of my former 2001) is worn smooth, especially at the 9:00-10:00 position, and I’d like to return closer to when the wheel was new.

(So so urgent need, but if your wheel is really good…)

The wheel is not in great shape unfortunately, worn smooth in the same spots.
You’ve probably already looked into this, but I put a wheel skins cover on the steering wheel in my truck and it’s pretty awesome, definitely improves the grip and feel.

Could I buy the "Tacoma" tailgate emblem, if you are willing to de-badge it? Mine is gone and I have 3M double-sided adhesive that I want to try applying and reattaching to the back of a used one.

Yes, do you need both sides?
Sure, I can try and get it off without damaging it. Any tips?

Yes please. It would require shipping though if that's not something you want to do.

Heat and 50# fishing line worked great for me.

The member after me mentioned fishing line and a heat gun, which is a tried and true method. If you don't have a heat gun, hair dryer works just as well. If you don't have either of those, letting Goo Gone seep down behind the emblem will loosen it up just as well. Then you take the fishing line behind the emblem in a sawing motion and it will come off. Unfortunately the 1st gen emblems are soft/foamy and aren't made as sturdy as the later gens, but if you are able to recover them in good condition, I'll pay.

Let me see what I can box them up in, can you PM me your zip code?

I’ll give the heat and fishing line a try and let you know how it turns out.
