Hi, I am trying to shop for some wheels, and ideally i would like this style.
Black, Round holes, 16" or 17". Steel or Alloy not really critical, prefer alloy, they can be used (an out of production rim), i dont mind painting them. Truck has the 6x5.5" pattern. Supposed to have ~25 offset i think. Would love if anyone has a suggestion for what to look for, or even just what you would call this style, i tried looking for "windows" but got only D-window styles, and "drilled" but got only fat bike rims.

UPDATE: Figured out the style is called "soft 8"
Versions from American Racing, Vision, Procomp, and Mickey Thomson appear to not come with the correct offset (supposed to be 15-25, they only make negatives it seems)
Cragar version I am having trouble finding a canadian source.
So the only ones in the right size that I am finding are the Pacer ones, which other threads suggest dont clear the brake calipers.
Can anyone suggest an alloy "soft 8" that will fit? Alloy avoids the punched out holes hitting the calipers.
Has anyone successfully mounted the steel soft 8s with no spacers? I could lathe them down but it would be a lot of trouble.
Does anyone know what happens if you mount a -6 offset 8 inch wheel? The vision alloys I like come in a -6 but thats quite a ways from 15.
Is backspacing just the width/2 + the offset? some sites seem to list one and some the other but not many have both?

    My current shortlist:

    http://www.kxwheels.com/kx/wheel/am...teel-with-red-and-blue-stripe-d9cdd/?s=100449

I prefer the round holes to the D holes but if thats all i can find that fits i guess D's it is.

Alloy ones I like better but allegedly are the wrong offset. If someone can confirm or deny that they wont fit that would be awesome.

Yeah those are perfect for steel ones. now to figure out where to buy them. do people buy wheels online? doesn't the shipping kill it? Steel would be more durable right? TBH they are just going to get thrashed anyways.

Last year I bought a set of Summit Racing's version of Cragar Soft 8s for my Jeep online. At the time they has free shipping (not sure about Canada). Check them out summitracing.com

ok so looking at some old posts it seems like the steel 8 hole rims never seem to clear the brakes?

anyone tried the pacer LT 164B alloy 8 hole rims?
