Sounds cool, I would love to go camping, but being that it's the weekend before the Marine Corps birthday I might be in Vegas.

you can count me on the list since i'll be back in san diego by then, hopefully nothing important comes up on that weekend! might need some extra help navigating since i've never been to ocotillo, just passed it a few times on my way to glamis

Yeah My Squadron is having the Ball that following weekend. Hey you could just come out for a day trip. Start early and leave late evening.

 

Usually i come from LA, pasadena area, okay come to think of it i've only passed ocotillo once i think, it was like senior year high school, i was in an rv so i wasn't really paying attention and just looked out and was like oh, ocotillo, i've heard of that.

But this year when i went to arizona from san diego to a friends house, i passed through brawley and then glamis but don't have any recollection of passing through ocotillo that time, maybe i just wasn't really paying attention...it was a long drive.

So you mostly went from the 10 to 60 to 86. Ocotillo is off the 86 to the 78.

 

Yes but that was only the first time i went, which was in the back of an rv, so i wasn't really paying attention to much.

Second trip i started in san diego so i went 8 to 86 to 78 and that puts you right at brawley pretty much when you get to the 78

So in conclusions, yeah i've only passed ocotillo once haha

 

Well since your coming from LA area. That 10 to 60 to 86 to 78 will be good for ya. Just go down the 78 (you'd be heading west) till you hit the Ranger Station and you should be good.
