    the ECU or multimedia software? You can load up the multimedia software onto a USB stick from Toyota's website. you will need techstream to update the ECU.

    It was the multimedia that I was thinking of updating. But after looking thru their documentation I don't think I want to do this anymore. There was a 2 page list of bugs with the new release. Some looked pretty bad.. Thanks for you info.

    Crap, misunderstood your question. Brain hurty from too much work lately.

    I am not sure I have seen more than one or two mentions of an update causing other issues.

    I have a dedicated thread for updates, but I haven't updated it in a minute.
