I just bought a toppers Leer 180 and I plan to build a minimalist camper. With all my gear, camper set up, 300 lbs of passenger, I end up ant around 1100lbs of load total. Do I need to upgrade suspension and if I have to what is the cheapest and easiest option for me? Thanks

Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
Following this out of curiosity to see where it goes. I've become tired of my 2023 reacting badly to crosswinds. So a Hellwig rear sway bar will get ordered when I return home from my current work trip.

I like the stabilizing action of rear sway bars so much that I'd be tempted to put one on a Radio Flyer wagon. :D

I wouldnt run a camper top without sway bars, heavier springs or airbags are a must as well, the factory springs invert with campers long term.

Personally a big thing is removing the camper when not needed, I grew up with one and we never left it on.

Thank you, was it a self-propelled camper that you were removing or just a regular fibreglass topper

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.

Cheapest ,easiest way would be airbags. Ride quality might suffer a bit but stability with a load would be much improved. Nice thing about Themis when you are loade you can use a bicycle pump to air them up.
