My gf introduced the idea of trading in my 04 for a newer model new or used due to the fact that im about to spend around 1200 for my front caliburs, rotors, pads, and a new ac compressor plus install. She gave me the choice of using the money as a down pmt or just to get my truck fixed, what do you all think.

keep the 04, spend 1200.. better investment than putting down 32k for new one

just taking a quick look at the pics of your truck I would say keep it. It's a pretty sweet ride and you should really take the time to weigh the pros and cons of getting a new truck (payments, higher insurance, all that good stuff). Spending 1200 on your truck isn't that big of a deal I don't think.

Side note question: Did you put the wheel stripes on? Or did they come that way? Looks good

I thought of that all day today considering we plan on moving to nyc in 8 months and it would be kept in a parking garage most of the time

Wheels came with the stripes, but I was originally going to black them out until I noticed, I am the only one with yellow stripes on my wheels:D
