will? WILLLLL!? where are you? help this poor soul.

on another note, KEEP IT! your gona have to fix the 1st gen either way, when you try to trade it in, they are going to take note of those things, and ding you the price to fix them. so you'd really just be buying a 2nd gen. there are a lot of members here on TW who have 2nd gen's and want 1st gen's and guys who have already made the switch from 2nd gen to 1st gen. I think you'd really regret it.

another thing, if you buy a 2nd gen now, next year when the 3rd gen comes out your 2nd gen would then be worth less.

no no, I didn't say worthless, I said worth less. they won't get any more rare than they are now, and there will be less demand for them as people will want the 3rd gen.

Yes sir, if you take note, the guy telling you to keep your 1st gen, 06BLUEDBLSPORT has a 2nd gen ;)

I have contemplated the same switch many times, but then I had to replace my fuel pump, my truck was out of commission for about 2 weeks, in that time I realized I was really taking it for granted.

oh man, I just took a look at your truck, that thing is SWEET! please don't do it!

was the $1200 quote from the stealership? because you can get it on the powerslot frozen rotors group buy right now for $85/pair
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/group-buys/65443-power-slot-rotors-group-buy-1st-gen-tacomas.html
and a set of hawk brake pads would go real nice with those, which are also not extremely expensive.

and here is a link to a new A/C compressor for under $250
    http://www.partstrain.com/store/?PN=11921+5628&N=0&VN=4294967179+4294967152+4294967119+4294967112+4294967108&Nr=AND(universal:0)

I think if you do some searching you can get this stuff done for under $600
