looking to start upgrading, looking for a ball park on cost for what this transformation would be, all labor would be done by my and friends, including making the front bumper/skid plate.

Thousands and thousands. Might help if you disclose what your'e going to use your truck for, experience in fabrication, and a general budget. Most can help give you a direction from there. That truck shown isn't just money thrown at it ( even though im sure tons were) theres the engineering factor

Hahaha welcome, fyi you’ve picked probably the most modified tacoma, I’d imagine there’s close to 40k in that thing.

Frame extension, fully caged, long travel, cantilevered/linked rear suspension, badass fuel cell.

I’ll follow your build thread though

And that's just for the front suspension.

That 2nd truck easily has $20-30k in it.

But seriously, it seams like you need to take a minute and do a LOT more research. You're asking how you can take a truck from A to Z, and don't seems to know anything about B to Y. If you're not a highly experienced fabricator, you're in for a world of hurt if "you and some friends" are going to attempt that level of fabrication/modification, I mean, "upgrade"...

Most of the trucks you see like that have taken years, if not a decade to get to that point, *especially* for the DIYer.

So again, take a minute, put the American Express Black card away and start doing some serious research.

Give it time, it's only Jan 6. Guaranteed we'll get "???" as a thread title soon enough.

For what it’s worth, LS1tacoma on Instagram has a very similar build, I think he once said he has about $20k+ in his truck. But keep in mind he comes from a race family of experienced fabricators and motor builders, as well as a lot of contacts
