I change my coolant bypass pipe every 5k miles, when I change my oil. Peace of mind.

Yes. My intent is to determine if it can be changed from topside; for future reference.

Is it possible to take a new OEM pipe and have it cast in aluminum? My guess is we could get 50 copies pre-sold here on TW.

I think I got the right area here. I just took my phone and recorded a video down in that area. I'm pretty tall, so it was easy for me to reach down.

I can't tell from your one picture. Take more pictures and use a different light source, not your phone light.

I have a 2021 sport 4x4. It is leaking from this part. The top is dry. But the underside view is soaking wet and collecting on many parts on its way down to my skid plate and transmission fluid pad. Albeit not a terrible leak but I am going to take this on myself. I am going to try to go in from the top. If I have to I will remove the cats to reach up there better and have help up top. I am going to buy a top creeper to reach the upper parts and access the lower bolts through the fender well (or via previous stated method removing the cats) if I cannot reach them from up top. There are two nuts and four bolts according to the service manual. I do not want to drop the tranny for this. Has anyone done it who can give warnings or tips for what to watch out for. Maybe have to lift the transfer case/tranny/engine with a jack to get a bit more clearance from the fire wall like when replacing the vacuum pump?

"I've done 1, and you can do it in the truck. Pull the 4 bolts from the bottom of the transmission mount and jack the back of the transmission up to pull the engine from the firewall, and you remove the upper intake, and you can get it out. It's a pain, but the only way to do it without pulling the transmission. // 3 hours, but I didn't figure the trick out until about 2 hours in."

Luckily mine hasn't leaked yet, I only have 50k on mine. But, by the end of the year. I'll have at least 60k miles. I bought a snake camera that's Bluetooth to run down in that area to check it. So far it's bone dry.
