I am going to be running a 6 inch rough country lift with the vertex coilovers and shocks. My big question is if I stack a 3 inch lift on top of that will I need to run upgraded control arms? I’m not too sure how much lift the stock control arms can take on my 2005 SR5 tacoma, but I do know that the lift kit comes with lifted knuckles to help sit the control arms at the factory angle. Thanks for any comments or pictures. And yes i know i could have went with a nicer lift, but I am trying to save a little money.

I got the 10 inch lift idea from bulletproofs lift but i cant afford the bulletproof one so imma try the rc lift and throw a coil spacer and a add a leaf and see what happens i guess

“See what happens” is the complete wrong way to go about it. you haven’t taken into account needing a longer driveshaft, traction bars and everything else that may pop up and it will. Find someone who has a 10” lift and see what all had to be done to make the truck drivable at that height. Or your gonna spending more money than you planned and could have just bought the Bullet 10” kit.
