I am redoing my tie rods and was wondering if anyone has any experience with a stronger tie rod set for off-roading. I previously have just been buying the AutoZone junk that doesn't last long. Would like to here your suggestions/experiences.

If your having problems with just the outers, you can convert them to heims.

Did the OEM ones give you trouble? Or were the autozone style on it when you get the truck?

OEM tie rods are far better than any of that cheap stuff parts stores sell. Go with OEM.

JD fabrication double shear kit with heim joints or PRG heim jointed ends.

    Other than that, OEM.

The Autozone t rods may have lifetime warranty. Off-roading may void the warranty, but don't tell them that. btw, I just ordered a set of Moog t rods. I off-road but am not hard on the truck. Have 190K on the oems, but the boots are torn and I'm having to align them often.
