The only way I can see it moving is if a thief moves it or rolling the truck.

Oh and my ditch lights were a dumb thing to put on, unless you like your very well illuminated hood glaring back in front of your face - they still do that even when angled out. I’m planning to move mine to up front below the grill sometime when I get around to it.

Only thing from him that I got... and have to say that I don't hate it and still use it to this day! Hated the idea of dangling and possibly wearing away paint somewhere, lol

Put a flowmaster 40 on the truck and realized that now that im late 30s i dont care for the drone as much. The Gibson catback sounds much better.

    The LC I get.
The LR, not so much. I loved driving my friend back and forth to the LR dealership in my ‘83 CJ-7 while his ‘91 D90 was being worked on. This was about ‘92-‘93. When it was actually running I think he got about 12MPGs. It was a beast off-road. I’ll give you that. It just gave him lots of trouble. He moved away so I never knew what he ended up doing with it. I know his wife wasn’t a big fan.

    +1

LR ownership is wrenching yourself and then paying other people to fix whatever you can't. I spent 50% of Taco's value on a LR. Never again.

I have an OR so it rests on the black plastic molding, but I would feel differently if it was resting on paint

I like my ditch lights, although I don’t use them for ditches. I just like the extra lights off-roading. I think they look better than the roof top bar lights, which Ive heard has even worse hood reflection. Fortunately, I don’t get any reflection off my hood, just lumens…

To add to the thread, I KiND Of regret my camper shell.. kind of… I think it’s more so that I just miss having a softtopper that I can fold down to use my full bed…

If you offroad they do come in handy, I've had a trail closed on the side of mountain because of a fallen tree and these lights were valuable in turning around and not going off the side of the road. Very specific use case.

The Anytime Backup/Front Cameras from Trail Grid Pro..... I never used the front camera, even on the trail, so that wasn't a necessity for me. The main issue was that the backup camera would intermittently cut out due to the AV-style connections loosening up with the heat cycle (Southern California...days start at 60....end at 100). So, I would be backing up to leave work, or the store in the afternoon, and the camera would be blank, or go blank halfway out of the parking spot. I ended up pulling the whole system out 2 weeks ago and have not had the camera go blank on me once......

I did leave a 3-star review on Trail Grid Pro, essentially saying it filled the need for a front camera, but wasn't great.....they deleted it. So, keep that in mind.

Air bags! What a relief when those came off and I got back to a smooth comfortable ride with a different rear suspension assist.

roof top light bars... put one on my old suburban years ago and it was bitchin! put one on my tacoma with inexpensive brackets from Ebay and nothing but hood glare... looked cool though. An automated car wash mangled it one day so I took it off.

I do have a pedal commander. I could see it being cool with an automatic but it makes my truck drive jerky AND a complete mess in 4low creepy crawlin. I have it set to factory default so it's purely cosmetic now. $300...
