    Hello!

My rear passenger side JBL door speaker blew, and I decided to just go ahead and replace all of my speakers.

I replaced my 6x9's with some Alpine S -Series Coaxials, and they sound better then the JBLs, but the difference is very subtle.

As far as tweeters go, can anyone recommend a pair that would sound better than the JBL pair? Preferably plug and play, but whatever. How do the Subaru Kicker tweeters compare to the JBLs? I haven't been able to find much information on how the JBL tweeters compare to anything else.

    - As far as the sub goes, I would also like to just plug and play something better than the 8" JBL. I'm looking at either the Alpine S-Series, or the R-Series 8inchers.

Just looking for some advice on which speakers to purchase to get the best bang for my buck, while getting a better sound than the JBLs.

Not sure if all the components of the JBL system are swapable per se. Also the wiring could be proprietary.
