I have finally decided on the cai I want ,a Volant, and I'm headed into Albuquerque today to get one. I still have questions though, do I need to put an after market exhaust along with the cai, I plan to anyways but are they hand in hand, or can I do them one at a time?

You can do one at a time.

Are you sure you want the volant? Some have reported codes being set due to the intake tube being a different cross section at the MAF sensor, leading to bad MAF sensor readings.

Might be better off with an aFe Stage II SI if you are set on an enclosed CAI.
