Upgrading sound system

    I need ideas on upgrading the sound in a “Premium Sound” package installed in a ’23 Sport, I know it doesn’t have a sub-woofer

    What have you done with what kind a results?

    I will say to look at that thread and substitute a few items. Put components in the front instead of kicker coaxials. Add a mini-amp. An underseat or small powered sub may help with the low end. And definitely add sound lining to the doors. All of what I mentioned can be done for less than $1000 and it sounds fantastic.

    I added a Rockford amp behind the head unit, a rockford 8 in sub,amp,box combo that fits and looks oem right behind the rear pass side seat. It punches like crazy, lots of great clear crisp sounds and some deep hard hitting bass. Try that first then maybe add speakers later. Yep under a grand installed by my local shop.
