I'm in the plains and they don't use a lot salt. Typically it gets cold when it snows and when the sun comes out the next day just having sand on the roads is enough to melt the snow.

All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, 60MM stealth turbo
That’s correct. Just can’t go smaller than 16” caliper will hit inside rim. Food for thought if deciding between 16” or 17”, the size equivalent (example 32”) in 17” will cost you about $15 more a tire than the same size in a 16”. Both size tires offer advantages and disadvantages. Your best bet is getting some takeoff wheels and tires that just need new Tpms sensors. What may seem cheaper in wheel cost may actually end up costing you more money when you see the difference in cost of certain tires.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts. That's kind of what I'm thinking. I've seen wheel tire combos with virtually new tires for about the cost of the tires alone which is why I've waited till I'm ready to replace the tires before undergoing this upgrade.

Best choice unless your wanting something more At or MT than stock. If you’re looking for something that’s round and gets you from point A to B then absolutely let someone else eat the purchase price and you can get virtually new at a depreciated cost.
