Putting my 1st gen up for sale. Making the switch to a 2nd gen, possibly as soon as tomorrow. I'm driving up to Medford to take a look at this 2011 DC TRD OR, 78,000 miles. Dealer is asking $25,995. What do you guys think?

They're that expensive everywhere here in norcal. I see first gen double cabs on Craigslist for 19k.

    nothing cool
Paid 28k for my 2011 TRD off Road 5 years ago. And it only had 6k miles on it. But, that's Midwest pricing.

If that's the going rate for those trucks in your area then go for it. I love my 2011.

Price is high to allow for a great trade in of someones pile. There is negotiating room. A lot.

Check what kind of lift it has. You don't want to replace a bucket of junk parts right out of the gate.

    Good luck.

That price is pretty much in line with KBB. Not surprising, these vehicles are number 1 for holding resale value.

Seems expensive, mine was $22k with about 52k on the odometer on my '13 TRD SPORT DCLB. They even threw in a set of winters on steelies, roof rack and hood deflector.

that is not a bad price for the NW! most double cabs will be mid 20s out of the gate... i doubt there is wiggle room in that price

I'd go in and offer $24,500, that'd be a decent deal for an '11 Trd or! Good luck bud, 2nd gens are awesome! :)

A little of this and a little of that.
Wow, glad to see the '11's holding their values, but the Tacomas always have had excellent re-sale numbers.

I had a '98 first-gen Tacoma and it was a fantastic truck for 95K miles. Having owned my '11 since new, I say go for it with the purchase of a second-gen Tacoma.

Good luck finding your next Tacoma.

You might be able to find 4wd for not much more than that. If that's a consideration for you.

Both trucks I listed are 4x4. 4x4 is a necessity.
