I will likely invest in a leather or cordura seat covers. The upholstery panels on my 04 4 door look rather straightforward in that they are not the upper ridge or edge of any part of the door. But they are a rather curvy somewhat nondevelopable shape.

-is it pretty easy to install panels if using thick cordura or kinda thick leather? It looks to not accommodate thick material...

-I presume from other threads i have to remove the OEM velour and reglue on the cover material. Otherwise the fabric will be floppy. Is this so?

-i might buy new panels to keep the OEM in case i switch back to that. Hate to rip off the velour. What is a good source for these parts besides a junk yard?

Thanks in advance for the help,
    Pete

Dude, they got to come up with a better name than "velour" it sounds fluffy.
