yup exactly, this has been a common issue with second gen uca’s since 2005... usually the contact is only at full droop so that extra 1/2” of clearance can make the difference. It happens with afrermarket uniball UCA’s too, you’ll see the bottom of the uniball cup smacking the coil.

So I had the truck jacked up and it indeed hits both sides at full droop. Camber was only adjusted it seems by the top of the UCA and nothing done to the bottom, drawing the ball joint super close. I’ve got an appointment next week to have it corrected. Till then I’ve gotta drive like a granny over speed bumps like a douche‍♂️

My 2022 tacoma has this same issue. A little late but you can rotate the coil or install limit straps. Everyone talks about spacers ignore em. You have too much down travel drop your truck to stock or limit it. I have had this going on for three years and it hasn’t caused any damage. I full send my poor little Tacoma with a 3.5”. Vertex kit and i have a blast it has never stopped me. Also you messed with the stock design of your truck essentially make every after market part a consumable. With limited straps once you’ve had it with that specific lift of break it you can order whatever and just re adjust your allowed down travel.
