Upper control arm question?

    I installed the 5100's a while back and just curious of I need upper control arms after the install, the truck seems to wander all over the road going down the highway, and the steering wheel seems jump when you hit a bump I believe it's called bump steer, the truck was lifted 2.5" in the front by compressing the stock springs and was lifted in the rear with a 2" add a leaf. I'm just trying to see if the upper control arms are needing replaced?

    It varies apparently from truck to truck but I have the same set-up with no issues for over 2 yrs now. No wandering & tread wear is fine.

    2019 Rubicon 4 Door,
    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Any lift over 2", and you loose caster. New UCA's that have added caster will correct this issue, and allow for proper alignment.

    Yeah, they will allow for more camber, to try and eek out a little more caster. Most often, its barely in specs.

    New UCA's, like Light Racing, or Total Chaos, will fix everything. They add caster, allowing the Camber to be set closer, or better, than it is now, while adding Caster to stop the wandering.

    I have the OME complete with the 885's and am looking into some new UCA's, just don't know which ones to buy, LR or total chaos? i haven't much information on what owners prefer.

    Yeah i'll probably go with LR's...just doing some more research on uni ball vs ball joints. I live in southern california but Oregon is home and the roads are rocked and salted pretty much from Nov- Mar.
