    Get that kit off!

Ball joint spacers are the worst.

    Holy smokes

Yeah I'd take that kit off pronto, much better ways to achieve 6" lifts

But even still... The ball joint spacer kits I've seen dont end up looking like that

Wait is that a huge spacer on top of the shock assembly too?

I think you've got way too much spacer action going on here

Ok, here's the problem. When you do a 6 in lift you probably shouldnt use spacers, you need to swap out just a little more suspension.
Spacers max out at a reasonable lift of about 3 in on most tacomas.
I've never seen a lift quite like that one before, holy heck.

    Sooooo.....
The only thing I can think to fix it is to take it off. 1500+ is what a proper lift will probably run ya.
Sorry I couldnt be more helpful.

Something is definitely not right there. It looks like your coil springs are compressed all the way down. Show some pictures from the front of the truck.

OP, if this is a DB kit and after you finished the install and look like this, more likely your coils are dead.

Is it possible he didn’t do the new lower bracket and put the 6 on top of the original lower control arm location of the frame? I’m not sure how these deal with 2wd but I’m taking a shot in the dark.

I was wondering if it even came with a drop bracket or if the concept was simply to combine spacer lifts, which of course is never a good idea.

Don’t know what he uses the truck for but I’m sure he knows what he likes. Regardless of the lift/opinions more pics would help everyone figure out how to direct this guy so he can drive his rig.

This kit looks like it's supposed to have a drop bracket, (never seen a 6" lift that didn't use one on an IFS front) and it looks like you don't have the drop bracket installed.

Like you forgot to put in these pieces:

    M42321460~2.jpg

Also these types of lifts have a horrible reputation on this forum and generally are considered a less safe and/or desirable option. I would return it to stock and go with a tried and true 5100 3-in lift, or save your money for a serious lift kit.

Either way this doesn't look safe to be driving on in it's current configuration.

What they heck is this kit anyway? Did you buy it new or used? Are you certain it's actually for your truck or is this a "universal" kit?

Don't need more pics. The solution is to remove that ridiculous, dangerous kit and do it correctly.

What person installed that and thought... "Yeah that's how this works"

I would start by removing the ubj spacer and seeing where those ucas and strut spacer puts you seems like that alone would be close enough

Is this going to be another one
Of those posts where the OP never comes back and we never get more pictures or more explanation? I hate when that happens because I’ll randomly think about it weeks later wondering if it all worked out. I want to know if there’s a drop bracket too? And if not I agree with at the very least taking out that ball joint spacer. I hope you haven’t driven this anywhere if so it must be a really crazy experience!

Same here. I hate it when OP asks for help, we all waste our time dropping advice and bs, and they never show up. OP, show us some pictures, we're trying to help.

What brand lift? Need more pics. However based on what I see, it appears those are SPC arms and they don’t look compatible with that ball joint/knuckle spacer. Our 1st Gen trucks use an inverted ball joint mounted on the spindle/knuckle. Rough Country uses a similar spacer on their 6” kit with a built in ball joint designed for the stock upper control arm.
    7A991D21-7697-4C4E-9BE7-82492098CAF7.jpg
Most drop bracket kits also include an entire replacement knuckle with the extension built into them. These types of ball joint extension spacers are down right scary. The Pro Comp 4” drop bracket lift had similar ‘grenade’ spacers and owners were installing knuckles from the Tuff Country drop bracket kit. Also, the coils looked collapsed in the photos..
