Would you rather have free SPC light racing ball joint control arms for free or a little over $300 discount off any of the following:

    Total Chaos
    Icon delta
    Icon uniball

Choice I’m facing and I don’t have experience with any of them. Thank you.

I’d pay full price for TC before I’d install free SPC uppers.

As always, depends on your needs and driving conditions. Uniballs require more upkeep (which really just means do what you already know...wash your balls when you get them dirty). SPC has been known for their bushing issues and the design of their arm isn’t nearly as strong as a full tube upper. But again, these could all be moot points depending on your goals of the truck and what you want out of your suspension.

I've been reading a lot of horror stories about the SPC arms. Especially with your alignment being knocked out of true after offroading or even hitting bumps going down a road. It's like the idea of adjustable arms is great, but they don't work or hold their adjustments. Does this sound about right?

Basically, can I not adjust caster/camber without the SPC arms? As done in this video below. And buy the TC arms that I assume have some built in caster to accommodate a lift.

I guess my question is, can I push the tires forward in the wheel well (if needed) and still get the vehicle aligned without buying the SPC arms? I'm new to this and apologize if this is a stupid question.

TC has built in additional positive castor, but not adjustable.
SPC has a castor adjustment on the arm.
With both, you can still adjust camber and castor with the LCA eccentrics as well.

Hit anything hard enough and stuff gets knocked out, generally off roading ( driving on indicated and maintained trails is not “ off roading”)
Knocks something out of spec every time.

I have em, hit a few pot holes, never a slip.

Assembly and intelligence are most of the issues with SPC

My ball joint nuts are well above the 150 max torque. I also cleaned the crap out of everything before assembly.

Don’t believe the hyped horror stories, ALL companies have issues one way or another.

Just get a lifetime alignment plan or learn how to do it yourself. If you hit something hard enough to knock the SPC's out of alignment you're probably hitting it hard enough to do some more serious damage if the SPC's didn't give first anyway.
