If you replace your coilovers then your stock UCA might rub against the newer coil at or near full droop. This is due to the larger overall diameter of some aftermarket coils.

I have about 3k miles and one mild weekend of off road on them. No issues. Quiet, feel like stock as far as ride and steering. Greasable with zerks.

How are you determining that your ball joints are worn out? I have 10k on my SPCs and they seem fine, but I haven’t tried to remove them and inspect them for wear. I dunno why road salt would be a issue provided you keep them greased.

I did the 2" Bilstein 5100's with stock coils (as per Bilstein). That's all I did. Think it becomes a problem once you go to a wider tire, like 285 width.

Maybe those people can answer it better than I can, as I only went with a 265/75/16 tire.

Aftermarket UCAs allow your suspension to droop more without making contact. It depends on how much travel your suspension has, if it's a lot you're gonna want aftermarket UCAs even with only 2" of lift. If it's a budget setup you're probably fine with stock UCAs.

I have Camburg ball joint UCA's and have not had any trouble. I have probably done less (read nothing) to maintain them since they were installed and still have zero issues.

If you are doing a lift and they have all the parts off I would just spend the little extra money and get the UCAs. Then there is no question of clearance and you don't have to go back and try and fix it later if you have problems.
