Probably not. Every case is a little different though and you won't know for sure until after the lift and you get it aligned. But most likely a 2" lift won't require aftermarket UCAs.

The general consensus is always 3+ inches or very near to that, and you will need uca’s. However I don’t think it hurts to get them at anywhere from 2” up. The oem ones are junk, and what’s $600 spent on a good truck?

when I went from 2”-2.5” I got uca’s and my alignment is now perfect because of that.

SPCs are unquestionably worth it. You're already in there working, get it all swapped out and beefed up the right way the first time. The new UCAs allowed me to fit 285/70/17 with minor trimming and no rubbing issues hence.

Getting ready to put ARB nitro sport coil overs on. I thinks its around a 2" lift all said and done. 265 tires, but considering 285s
    Ya'll think I need UCAs?

I’ve been running 2” now for almost a year. In my case there was just enough adjustment left to get my truck in alignment without UCAs and it’s driven great ever since. No unusual tire wear either running general grabber AT2 tires.

Thanks. I've had a 2" lift on using front spacers (for tire clearance) for years now w/o alingment issues. I was just curious if I "needed" them going to a strut/coil lift. Might try it without UCAs first.
