Upper Grille Assembly SR5 vs TRD Pro

Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster here.

I took out a deer a few weeks back and disintegrated pretty much anything made out of plastic on my front end. I opted to take the insurance payout and upgrade to a steel bumper and brighter headlights as they have to be replaced anyway.

I drive a '17 SR5 but the OEM grille never did it for me and was wanting to get the TRD Pro style. I know the insert slides right in, but the thing is, I have to replace the entire assembly. My question is, does the assembly for the TRD Pro grille fit onto the SR5? The dealership website says it won't, but dealerships can be funny like that sometimes. I'm comfortable if a few nips and tucks need to be made.

Yes, putter grill surround is same across all models. That's why the Pro inner can be install on any model. All front-end parts are interchangeable.
