I was pretty surprised to be honest. I almost bailed bc of my 3 hour drive at 5 in the morning. But man, I couldn't have asked for a more laid back bunch of guys and gals. Everyone was super chill and more than willing to lend a hand and advice with anything, even if Jay kept talking trash about the chrome and black :D! I learned a ton this weekend and had an awesome time. It's too bad we don't all live in the same city :p

Although it is far from a valid excuse.. the wife and I went shooping for a matress and box spring seeing as we are no longer going to germany on Saturday, and since we didnt find anything.....

I was told "We didnt find the mattress we need so you need to stay home tomorrow (sunday) to continue the search", so after going to 3 more places sunday finding 3 different matresses and being told they were either A. out of stock, or B. the Warehouse is closed sunday, I said fuck it.

so.... I drove home. Put some Bed liner spray on my Sliders and scheduled an appointment to have them installed on Thursday. and bought the rest of the supplies to do my wheels this upcoming weekend

It's all just good fun man. Your truck looks awesome and when you get done with it (if anyone ever gets "done" with their Taco) I have no doubt it'll be a sick sick ride.

if u have an electronics/cb shop somewhere close, i'd recommend taking it there, gettin gthe cb peaked, then having them tune it for you, since that cb doesnt have the SWR meter/tuner built in

i ran my positive back to the battery and the ground to the same ground the fusebox under the hood uses.

haha...they have to remove the case and get into it. peaking gets you more power to transmit. it's possible and that's why you are getting the reverbs coming through the speaker. i've run that same cb before and cabled it the same way as is now w/ no issues

i would definitely wire to the battery...even for the ground, so you know it has a good connection.
