Does this noise sound like a rock hitting the windshield at speed? I had it happen twice (when not going fast enough for it to be a rock).

I am at 29,600 miles on my 2011. Would the dealer cover the labor for reseating the windshield?

I also have a 2011 DC with only 14,700 miles with this upper RH windshield tick, doubt if the dealer would cover anything under warranty since its over the 3/36 mark.
Happens about 75% while driving (until I push on it) especially when its warm out, and out here in SoCal its usually warm to hot.
I'm going to call the dealer to find out what they would charge to do the job for: T-SB-0141-10
I would try it myself, since I am a mechanic and run a shop (33 yrs), but after reading that TSB, I didn't want to chance it without the proper tools and experience at that type of work
I just don't trust some of these mobile windshield guys. After seeing some of their work.

My 09 has started doing this last summer and as temps are warming it's started again. Anyone have any luck on a replacing windshield all together? My windshield has some chips on it, wouldn't mind replacing if I knew a new new one could fix the tick.
If I put a lot of pressure with my hand on the top of WS directectly in line with middle of steering wheel I can get the noise to stop all together. It's almost as if the windshield doesn't have enough adhesive in spots and as it warms up the WS moves slightly. Very annoying!

I've got a 2015 with what feels like it might be the same issue. Can any of you verify that this is what it sounds like? I wouldn't describe it is a tick, and it seems to be coming from the bottom of the windshield, though that could be acoustics.
