So I had everything setup to get my rims and tires swapped for monday, and a guy driving an hour to get mine. They were shipped on time by a member here, and Expedited or whatever its called, and its been 5 fucking days and they still havnt come. I called and they JUST got to the boarder. WTF is that bullshit? They said GUARANTEED 3 business days. They also said it would be here monday. Now they say MAYBE Wednesday. What can be done about this? Thats 5 days, not close to fair. I paid $200 fucking dollars to get them here for Monday

One of the drawbacks of living in Canada. Heard of NAFTA? It doesn't actually work smoothly in practice.

It's customs. And I bet the shipper, if not familiar with shipping across the border into Canada, did not provide the correct customs forms. They are serious about that stuff.

Yup. UPS got them to the customs office on time but customs is slow. Also always make sure you have all the parts you need before selling the old stuff.

I have learned that it rarely pays off to pay extra for expedited shipping. Next day air is the only time you don't get the shaft but things can get really expensive.

I have also learned to plan accordingly after the product has arrived. The freight system is too unreliable.

Wait till you get them and have to pay a COD brokerage charge .

    That's the best part .

Anything they think you can smuggle drugs in easily will get caught up at customs.

Oh I know, I paid $200 once when I bought a fucking turbo. Also $230 for a custom intake manifold. These are not worth much so the customs shouldnt be too bad

I am a driver for UPS, and shipping to Canada is a pain. If everything isn't just right with the customs paperwork they will hold them untill it gets straightened out.

The COD brokerage is the worst part , if you don't get the shipper to take care of that .
