I don't have truck yet - I ordered this white one, but the order got cancelled - it was supposed to be an 18, it came in as a 17, so I declined it. I now want an off-road with jbl / tech and leather 2018. So the months of waiting will happen again.

There’s big business now for packaging specialists. Different types of cardboard and packing make huge differences in how well the product will ride. It’s shocking to me how many shippers still don’t understand the importance of it. Selecting the right service makes a big difference too between parcel and LTL freight. Parcel companies do not handle bulky stuff very well that should go LTL. Same if you send parcel freight into the LTL system.

Amazon, the greedy clowns that they are have some of the worst packaging I've seen. A box too big for the item inside and one piece of crappy paper tape on each side.

Very good point, If I ever sell something large on EBay or elsewhere again, I won't pack or ship it via the standard carriers anymore.

You can, just make sure you pack your items very carefully.
