Sorry if this has been beaten to death. I have checked the boards and didn't find anything so I wanted to ask.

I have a 99 2.4 base Tacoma. The stock wheels are 14 inches and I am hoping to go bigger. I am not looking for anything crazy, maybe 16s, so I can do some normal tire shopping when it comes time to replace them.

For any of my other vehicles I have always tried to keep the same outside diameter, but for my truck, I would like to increase the diameter while causing the least degradation to MPG, torque, engine, differential, etc.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Brian
