Upstate NY. Still riding on stock Hankook HTs during the spring/summer/fall. Have a set of Toyo Observe GSI-5 for the winter mounted on steel wheels.

99.999% of my driving is on pavement so I’ll take the extra 0.5 MPG gain running HTs instead of ATs. It drives very well in 2wd with snow tires. Only ever did 4wd because I didn’t give it enough momentum pulling into my parking lot.

almost every mainstream AT today is rated for snow. Cooper AT3, BFG, Hankook etc. but if you’re running them year round take wear into consideration. A tire at 6/32nds won’t perform as well as 13/32nds no matter what it is

I just changed out my stock goodyears for wildpeaks myself, the stocks slipped and slid more than I cared for and the truck cost too damn much to take the chance.

I live near Oswego and am all over the adirondacks all year.

Dedicated snows are better than AT's. I had good luck with KO2s until half worn and was less than happy with them

I'm running the P-Rated ATX's and they have been great in the snow. I can't speak for the C or E rated in snow.
