What would have made it even easier is if they would have sent the instructions written in crayon.

Nice. About how long from order to delivery, and did you get any cuts or painting?

Did you get the grab handles with 550 cord? If so how did you tie yours?

@Doozy4212 i have a question for you. I actually don’t use my XM anymore(I use the app on my phone since it’s 110% cheaper) so instead of drilling a hole that I would cringe with every turn of the drill, Will the new wire harness fit through the existing hole if I do not use the XM harness? I really hope I explained that the right way.

Lucky for you the UpTop guys made a video about that. A little strange at first, but once you figure it out it's easy. Just don't forget to tighten a lot before you complete it, otherwise it will sit loose like mine.

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to remove your XM radio wire, and put the harness in place of that. If that is the case, that should work no problem.

That’s what I was thinking. But I feel better having it answered. Figured if I just leave the guts out and just run the harness for all my lights where the XM harness was that way I don’t have to drill the 1/2” hole.

If it’s “proper” 550 cord I should be able to get my PT on in the field since the tinsel strength of the 550 cord is more than I weigh.

You certainly can but if you leave the guts out you will lose the gasket that seals the bottom of the antenna in addition to am/fm/weather and XM because they all work together off of the one wire bundle going into the antenna

    HEY YALL!

I would like to introduce the new upTOP NABR!

The upTOP™ NABR (Not a Bed Rack) was designed for the outdoor enthusiast that wants to store all must-have recovery gear but still needs the truck bed for Kayaks, Dirt Bikes, Quads.....

The NABR kit rests on your bed caps and attaches to your factory cargo rails in the 2nd/3rd generation Toyota Tacoma securing with included Stainless Steel hardware.

On the load plates you'll find pre-drilled holes for all the best gear. RotoPAX, MaxTRAX, Water Port Showers, Quickfists....all you need is the gear specific mount and you are ready to adventure.

Finished with our UV stable Stealth Black Powder Coat.

The rear tower on the driver and passenger are pre-punched for our scenePOD™ allowing you to add the powerful Baja Designs Rock Light to the rear of your truck to provide visibility after a long day on the trail.

Check under the "Lighting and Electrical" tab for an additional option that will automatically turn the lights on when you drop the tailgate.

Rated to hold 50 pounds per side.

would the rotopax fit between the gaps on the inside?
without a crossbar, for support, would that cause too much strain on the bed railings?

you could totally put rotopax there! each side is rated for 50lbs of gear evenly distributed 2 gallons of gas is approximately 17lbs. Ideally you would not run 4 gallons AND maxtrax on one side but you could put 4 gallons and a shovel/axe on one and maxtrax and another 2 gallons on the other. the possibilities are endless

    @Doozy4212 question about your scenePODS..

on the page for the AAp you have this little bit about the scenePODS.

But on the actual scenePODs info page there is no mention of of the Extreme LED rock lights.. I want the RGB rock light option since I rather not draw bugs or screw up my night vision with white light. but still would like the option of white light when needed.

Was this something that got added to the copy when the new product was added and forgot to get added to the original page?
