My daily driver is a 2016 Tacoma that is parked in a high rise parking garage.

Other than towing my boat once a month or so it doesn’t go off roading much.

I am looking to buy a bolt on low profile bullnose bumper to protect my front bumper from the perils of the concrete corners of the parking garage.

I do not have a front license plate on my truck.

I don’t want to remove the existing bumper and I don’t want to put any lights or light bars on the bull barb

ideally it would be power coated black.

I looked at a Trident Maverick Bull Bar from Trident Truck Accessories.

i am open to suggestions and comments.

    Thank you.

i also have a 2016 and looked years ago and could not find anything that did NOT require cutting up the plastic bumper.

I'm not aware of any bumper on the market that doesn't require cutting or removing the front oem bumper.

    Thanks.

I’ll admit it - even though I’ve got a garage full of tools - cutting the bumper is above my skill set.

I know I could pay someone could do the entire job but I’m just not sure I’m willing to spend the money.

Maybe a better accessory would be an anytime front camera.

I originally added the front camera for bouncing around the Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierras, and while it's great for when you're cresting a hill and can't see over the hood (and I've got an off road not a sport) I found even more use for it in street parking here in Los Angeles. Plus, because of the slight parallax from the camera mounting position, it gives you about six inches of extra room when you think you're about to touch the car in front of you. One of the best things I've done next to the 2020 oem LED headlights.

At the time my truck was like 6 months old and i was not about to start cutting it up.
and yea, like you i know i would screw it up and would be sorry in the end'
I have completely forgotten about that and no longer even want to do it.
