Will be going off to alignment tomorrow.

All went smooth and truck drives tight with not a single complain, steering was a bit off to the right, he adjusted, tested and got it centered within 5 min. By the way, nothing rubs.

    UCA : stock
LCA: stock with whiteline bushings and problem solver ball joint.
Suspension: bilstein 5100 with OME 885X springs at bottom clip.
    Sway bar: LOL.

Alrighty, still alive. Just been busy. I installed this rear e-locker guard a couple of months ago. Cool Craigslist! Will be doing the 3/8” rear diff cover plate. I dig the protection without the bulkiness of the rear diff skid system. At the end of the day the weak part of the rear diff it’s the rear cover part.

Alright, so I found some 1/8” plate while doing some garage clean up and decided to use it for something helpful, got motivated by recent post of some of the OG’s ( @GHOST SHIP as an example :fistbump:) and put together my spindle gussets. I have installed some for customers in the past so I know the drill. Recorded a video in Spanish as usual for the Spanish speaking Tacoma homies. You realize that in the video I separate the bearing hub from the spindle and it’s due to mine where a pain on the ass to remove with the spindle off the vehicle and I said “nope, it wont happen again” heady I consider this a true need mod for all you on 35”s or 33”s sending it. Leave you with some photos and the video of the process.

Alrighty, so extended wheeler’s brake lines went in. As usual put together a video tutorial en español for the Spanish speaking homies. All went smooth as butter.

Re torqued all front suspension hardware and replaced the lower shock bolts with the ones from the 4runner(5/6gen) perfect fitment, you can re use the washer and nut and provides a tapperless fitment. Seems to prevent bushing twist, which is a know source for those annoying cliks. Again, a video guide and explain action in español.

Alright, just finish the installation of my rear diff armor. You know, the one that doesn’t steal a bunch of clearance and it’s affordable. Made by RuffStuff part R1772 aka the 3/8” bash plate.. It’s intended for the toyota solid axle pick ups. Shape doesn’t fully match so heat, and physical force is needed to get it to match your rear 8” cover.

here’s the link to the product:https://www.ruffstuffspecialties.co...3etOCWaGbIJpbcO7txJ-tFncOYrbKxfBoCSbwQAvD_BwE

Alrighty, some maintenance has been completed.
Replaced the front brakes with some R1 concepts Super Heavy pads and resurfaced OEM discs. They are at 27.8mm

Last thing I did to the truck when I was in Ventura was the BMR by Alpine designs.

Kit is solid, hardware and bushings are up to specs a bunch of clearance.IMG_4614.jpg

Once I got to Upland I was busy with a bunch of BMC’s, CMR’s, spindle gussets, suspension installs, etc.

once I had a weekend off I tackled the Chevy 63” conversions. Used the kit from ruffstuff and their outriggers. Kit is solid. At the beginning I went with 4” shackles and ended up ordering the 5”. Ill probably will modify for a 4.5” we’ll see.

Some bling showed up. Guys at NWF contacted me to inform they’ll be sending a new pin since other customers informed that it was coming undone under some crazy conditions. That’s what customer service it’s all about. New pin is received and just making some room to tackle the eco-crawler.

Got my tires. Opted for Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T in 315/75R16. Solid, aggressive traction, proven under shit show conditions. Mounted one on my spare wheel(Method 701 16”) that I picked up for 120$ to figure out the amount I needed to remove from the fender and flares.IMG_9335.jpg 2572E6B4-B3F5-49E7-9136-954D90DE6AF1.jpg IMG_4290.jpg
