Yup, got the kit (Stage ll), had it professionally installed @ 44,700 miles. Drove it from Prescott to Phoenix & back 3-4 times, then to Pismo Beach, Ca to work, now @ 46,900.
Power is very good, but it takes several hundred miles of easy driving for the sub-ECU to get all the changed parameters sorted out (timing, fuel delivery and a lot of other things). One I had hoped would go away is the incessant auto down-shifting 1 or 2 gears on the slightest grade, then holding in that lower gear well past the need to up-shift. Gas mileage (full to empty check) is much improved; 30-32 mpg on the open road, 26-28 in town.

    More later.

As mechanics and electrons settle in the performance numbers have normalized too.
Overall mileage is 21-24, power range pulls strong from 2700-5000 RPMs, drivability is very good around town and on the open road.
Towing a 16’ Double axle trailer load of furniture is good in the pulling mode, but lacks the “big truck” stability and braking capability to use it on a regular basis.
Glad I added the SC and did the Stage II upgrade and the LCE equal length header.
Thinking about changing the stock muffler for a free flowing unit, but don’t want a lot of noise.
Any recommendations on a likely candidate?

Hmm. maybe be worth it more to me then if you still get a power gain and mpg's than a 5.7 swap.

Could you please provide a little more info on the tuning solution for your 2.7 with the urd sc?

Is it a piggyback computer like the UCON for the v6 trucks? And does scott remote in to tune the truck for you, or does he have the ability to for a custom tune? Been considering this supercharger for my 4 banger and am having a hard time finding more info on how its tuned

Don’t know how the UCON works, but the controller plugs in between the engine and the OEM ECU. It gives the signals the engine needs to perform and gives the ECU signals it needs to keep the idiot lights off. Haven’t got back to URD with any feedback. The literature says if you have problems tech support will work through issues, within the limit of the equipment to solve your concerns.
Am working 12 hr days out of state till mid March before I can spend any quality time identifying and explaining my experiences with URD techs.

Be aware, this is not a CARB tested / approved kit, but it does make noticeable amounts of power!

Is URD developing a SC for the 3.5?
