URD 3.5L Supercharger

Well that's irrelevant because I added all the armor after the supercharger. But I was lifted 3in on 33s and pushing 23 highway and 19 city. That quickly went down as I added all the weight and un-aerodynamic mods

Will winch fit under intercooler?

 

Yes! Lots of room there

EDIT: I have aftermarket bumpers that have more mounting options for winch and other gear. But even before the bumper install, the supercharger was designed to accommodate a winch

 

Thank you Jwizzmasterwet for show and tell (and drive) of your supercharged setup. For those who haven't met joe, he's a good dude who went out of his way to get me hooked on the supercharger and has an all around sweet setup!

 

Has anyone spoken to URD about their official release? I've been watching URDs setup with great interest all along. They had posted on their site they were anticipating a December release but I'm assuming COVID may have delayed things a bit. They haven't posted an update on their website since July.

Anyone have any insight as to a released date?

 

I asked URD also all I got was it’s still in development no date given.

 

??? So checking HPTuner web page for vehicles they tune = Gen 3 not on the list. ?? So maybe Gadget is using .vft via the Pro Tuner Version? I'm not aware of any other SC tuning software for Gen3. So it's either .vft or not tuned. Maybe Gadget got with Mat (Mat released 5 SC of the same type) and developed a tune with a NDA.

 

Has anyone figured out how tuning works if you are not near URDs shop in MD? I’m considering ordering, but not sure it’s worth it if I can’t tune it.....

 

URD has these in stock right now. The kits are complete with the exception of one thing… no tuning included.

The URD kits have consistently outperformed the Magnuson supercharger on the 4L 1GR. Probably do the same on the 3.5L. The URD kits, regardless of the platform, are never in stock.

Around Feb 2021 I contacted Steve about a URD supercharger. He's just a few miles away from me. I even met up with a satisfied customer I found online and he offered a ride and I liked everything about the setup. Kept in touch with Steve for six months waiting for him to get the tuning ready and the superchargers market ready. Haven't heard a peep since then and I've managed to find other projects and hobbies to spend my money on. Keeping my engine stock for now. Hopefully he gets them out and I'll come back around.
