    - Bilstein 6112/5160 Lift W/ OME Uppers and All Pro Expo Springs - URD Exhaust Cam gears - Magnaflow Custom Exhaust - Method 705 Beadgrip 17" Wheels - Falken Wildpeak AT3w 255/80/17 - ARE Camper with Rhino Rack Batwing Awning - Custom Bed/camper Build out - Baja Pods and Lightbar
Alright, so I took the plunge and picked up a set of the Advanced Exhaust Timing Gears from URD per a rec from @mightytacoman.
I needed to replace my valve cover gaskets anyhow and figured why not do some upgrading while I was in that deep. So I installed these over the weekend with some help from a buddy and have some initial reads/feedback to offer:

    Feedback on the job itself:

    - Easy enough job if your relatively savvy, and not afraid to put in some serious elbow grease.
    - As others have mentioned, the bolts that hold the Cam gear In are no joke and way tighter than you expect. We tried a 17mm craftsmen Flare nut and ended up flexing the wrench so hard it skipped on the bolt. Almost gave up for fear of rounding the bolt, but Gave er' one more big push with an enclosed box wrench and that did the trick! These are supposed to be tightened only to 74ftlbs from the factory, so who knows.
    - Checking all of your timing marks is so crucial! Check, Check, And quadruple check! ✔️
    - Should have taken 5 hours, took about 8 with cleaning all of the parts including TB and MAF sensor.
    - I have some additional pics and videos of the process I can upload as well if it would help anyone who is planning to tackle this job.

    Initial Thoughts:

    - Butt Dyno definitely seems to be reporting some initial gains in low-mid range torque. Most noticable when getting on the highway and when dropping a gear to pass.
    - Can't speak to MPG yet, have only driven about 50 miles so far.
    - a little bit of rev hang between 3rd and 4th on first 2 drives, but seems to have resolved it self. I think it was just the ECU relearning the new timing.
    - Took a few screenshots from Torque pro after a few highway pulls this morning, and also prior to install.
    - Based on prior logging it looks like MAF reading are up +10-15 pts ov average, with HP up about the same (+10 - 15hp).
    - Torque is showing to be a more significant gain at up to +30, which would be pretty impressive for such a low cost upgrade. I would estimate it closer to +20 to be fair.

Have you seen much of an improvement on mpg?
    Thank you.

there might be some. But at the end of the day it's not a fuel efficient truck. And there's two sides of the coin to look at .
    1. making sure nothing else on the truck is faulty causing worse than normal mileage

and to insert, a common theme, realizing and accepting it will never have fantastic mileage

and 2. you can throw anything you want at it, for performance and efficiency. Tune, gears, you name it. $500 vvti solenoids, IM spacer, etc.
it can be hopeful. Not necessarily garunteed or a chief advertisement.
    but again, not a Prius
heavy truck, primitive large size motor (compared to 4cyl), non aerodynamic
a motor that also may work harder than it's v8 counterparts would.

Of course, it's not a Prius. The question was to the OP. Did he see any increase in range when compared to before and after the install, on his truck ?
