Well, sent an email to urd on stock situation and this is the response I got back,

"Don't know yet. Doing a design review to see if we can improve it.

    Steve (Gadget) Dopler"

Makes me wonder if there was issues with the design. Update from some long time use, from someone, would be nice. Not sure what route to go now.

I've put around 30k miles on mine without any Issues. Only thing I've noticed is that the hydraulic fluid in the clutch res has gotten off color over time, it may be due for a flush.

I also have a slight hissing sound when engaging the clutch from a dead stop, never really looked into what it could be. Doesn't bother me enough to drop the trans again.

My 2013 shares the brake resv. I'm guessing the TRD's must have a separate one, for whatever reason. URD give's no timetable on coming back in stock. Doing redesign for some reason.

I guess whatever they had lying around the shop that day, lol...:cookiemonster:
I know there is something, lol. Mine has tow package, you?

Take it you bleed it last when bleeding the rest of brakes and changing fluid? I need to change mine.

My truck is a 2013 TRDOR, I think 6mt trucks that have VSC is where you will see the separate res for the the clutch

How is the Hydro-Bearing holding up? I installed the URD Sleeve on my FJ just over a year ago and the horrid chirping came back in about 10 months and under 20k miles. I've been wanting to install the Hydro-Bearing as well but as we all know it's still out of stock.

How do you bleed the system? I don't see a bleeder valve anywhere.

It has a "Tee" fitting that connects a short preformed hard line from the release bearing to the hose that runs up to the master cylinder. The top of the fitting has a bleeder on it.

Curious as well. Their email to me, made it sound like they killed it for a redesign. Wondering whats up there. Anyway, mine has quited down since it has gotten warmer. I need to try the spring trick, if i can ever find a perch that will work. Back to that thread :frusty:

I tried the spring trick and it didn't work. I waited too long (a few months of chirping before trying the spring). Mine got quieter over the winter on warm days but now that it has warmed up it is just as noisy again. I'm losing my mind with it. I emailed URD and got the same message about the hydro-bearing back in December.

Weird, mine was worse when it was cold and has gone away completely now that its warm. Makes me hopeful for the spring trick. You remember what you used as the spring perch?

a lot of bad ass stuff
Great little thread. Figure I would give it a bump hoping to get some feedback from others who have done the hydro kit, who haven’t done so already.
I have replaced the tob with the sleeve kit, to have the noise come back in a few months. This squill/chirping noise is taken my joy of driving my truck away.
