Well, I picked up an '09 TRD Sport today!! With the URD cai, would I need to cut a hole in the sheet metal next to the headlight?

Super easy. Be sure to paint the area after you cut it

Nope. People do it on here all the time. Plus the part you cut out for the intake is just part of the body and not part of the frame or anything, which people cut into all the time as well.

Simple. They give you a little rubber lining to cover the sharp edge where you cut too. At least they used to. URD's are awesome.

Whats the easiest way to cut through the sheet metal? I don't have any special tools like a nibbler....

    thanks

I know exactly what you mean. I wasn't sure how hard the sheet metal was.

the 15 dollar body saw from harbor freight will make quick work of it.

I have done it with a Sawzall twice for others as well :), you just have to be careful

I took a piece of 1/8" rubber fuel line and cut a slit down it to line the hole you cut so it did'nt rub through my urd intake.
