    Yeah but when gas is $5, an extra 50 cents for a 21 gallon tank is $10.

    Times how many tanks per year over the life of the truck, and assuming standard inflation...YMMV.

    It's a practical consideration of cost.

    Sure I guess when I'm paying $140, an extra couple bucks the percentage is low.
