Hmm you both seem to have similar pictures, I'm guessing you bought the kit from this guy, so how did it pick up that extra 1k in price? And wasn't he selling a ucon with it? Did you switch it out with an apr-x1? Wouldn't that mean the price would go down not up?

 

I couldn't tell you if it's the same kit, but I could tell you that the craigslist add has a apr x-1 ecu in its pictures, not a ucon, and is missing a few parts.

The newer kits include a ucon, but that's a recent change. Chances are the person who posted the craigslist add just pulled his specs from urd's website. I also know that on other threads on this forum tubbs island has posted that he had to track down parts, anyone who's dealt with Urd knows what a pain that is.

Just in one of the pictures in this post you can see new cam gears (atleast $500), Urd 170 thermostat kit ($170), and new plugs ($40), belts ($60), and rotex oil. That's over $700 and brings the price up to his $3500. Not sure what else has been done. But regardless $3500 is still a killer deal.

 

Hey I'm just representing the typical member. I was actually interested in the kit, so if being a douche means questioning with intent to get a better deal, then 4x4douche I am.

Why would you have any reason for replying? Kits been sold for over a month, but @glorifiedwelder hit it on the head with all the parts I needed to add to complete it. ended up selling for a couple hundred dollar loss but oh well, live and learn.
