    I just got the URD short shifter that I won at Texfest installed. All in all I love it, But it goes into reverse really hard. Doesnt grind or anthing just really hard to pull over to go into reverse. Any suggestion why????

    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    I have had mine installed for about a year now. It took about 5K for it to brake in but after some miles it will not be as stiff. I though something was wrong right after I installed it but turns out thats just how they are.

    i had the urd one as well, same thing. everyone that i know that has the urd ss says the same thing.

    Cool ,thanks guys I was hoping thats all it was,its just hard as hell to pull over to go into reverse.

    Ive had mine in for almost 5 years it was the first mod i did to it, and its still hard to get into reverse but not like it was when i first installed it, there all like that john..

    yeah, mines the same. I just got used to it. The bolts on mine started to hit the cutout, so if you hear a random clunking once in a while, this is something to check.

    I just pounded it back a little more to clearance it and no more clunk :)

    I don't think I really have the hard reverse problem with the TRD SS. It does cost more, but I'm really satisfied with it.
