Gadget, Do you by chance for see a dyno run with the equal lengths vs stock manifolds? I was going to get short tubes for better low end, but now im curious about these.

A customer that lives in HI did his own dyno test and posted it here:

    http://www.xr-underground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54395&page=11

He showed a nice gain over the entire RPM range. No loss of low end on that dyno chart.

I can tell you from my own driving experience that the low end torque is greatly enhanced over the other brand of long tube headers I had on the truck.

Really looking forward to the release of the URD 2012+'s, I'll probably be buying two sets once they're released for mine and my brothers '13's.

I have a trd exhaust standard on my baja and I added an afe stage2 pro dry s intake , so I'm looking forward to see what the headers add to that setup in both performance and sound. No plans for forced induction

    Great work URD, thanks !

Will these headers give the same rasp that the DTLT give since the cats are removed? If so will the DT Ypipe fix that issue? Last question.. Is there somewhere i can hear the urd headers with the DT ypipe, or at least have it described?

I am going to buy headers within the next few days but I don't want the outcome to sound like some shitty high pitched raspy honda civic.

Definitely doesn't sound like a civic... But it only gets louder with the y pipe.

Not saying there isn't any rasp, just that itll be louder with the y pipe.
if youre in maryland, why dont you swing by urd and take a listen to one of their trucks...im sure youll get a better idea.
my truck get raspy only on wot at the highest rpms...but normal driving its fine, no rasp.

Yeah. That's what I'm planning. I looked all over TW and YouTube for sound clips and it doesn't seem anyone has just the headers. I wanna hear it before I make the 2 1/2 trip to urd.

I can do that. I'm sure someone here is running that setup and just hasn't seen this thread yet.
