you should be able to keep your headers, that will be an upgrade to the supercharger kit.....all of the other kits use a header to add to the additional upgrades(ie..stage 2 stage 3...)

Just got the clogged up cat removed, I mean replaced....

Huge difference. Need to retune and get it on the dyno then break it all down for fixtures and production.

    Gadget,
What do you think caused the cats to clog? Fuel issues? I know the fuel pumps are known to clog fairly quickly.

    No idea.

All I can tell you is when I first drove the engine in boost it did not respond properly and was bogging out a bit. Anything more than 3 PSI the engine would knock like crazy. I put race gas in it and it still knocked like crazy and the boost was much higher than it should be so I figured is was a clogged cat. It is fixed now. Going to retune it later this evening.

This engine is programmed to run at 14.7:1 AFR no matter what the throttle position is until about 4500 RPM where it will then richen up. I know the owner had oversized tires on it for a good while I will bet working the engine that hard at that AFR just over temped the cats and ruined them. I kind of thought is was a tad sluggish before I put the supercharger on it.

There is no way driving it as little as I did with boost caused it. I am sure the problem existed before the truck got here and boost just really magnified it.

The engine management solution I am using allows me to make the AFR pretty much anything I want it to be in closed loop so boosting it in closed loop is not a problem.

    Nope.

Once it is complete and ready for production I will let you know, but in the prototype stage things are always subject to change.

Your logo picture would make one think that you were serving in the Air Force.

If my Dad read that he would take issue with you stating you were in the military. He seems to think that Air Force guys are a step above....
