Production prototype parts are arriving everyday now.

I rejected one part and it had to be redone and it is perfect now.

The pipes are great and the production custom silicone piece just came in and it fits perfect.

The revised supercharger mounting bracket should arrive tomorrow and I hope to get it and the piping back from the powder coater Friday and we should have complete kit with all production parts.

Then I get to take it all back off the truck and reinstall taking detailed pictures for the installation guide. Then a final dyno and it is out of here!!

The dyno might get hinked up. That shop is moving this week, but will be now be just minutes from me. I am looking at a new shop which will be just down the street from the dyno shop so things are really looking up.

Anyway, I should have some nice pictures of the final production kit next week for you and get it listed on the website so you can place your orders.

What size tire are you running? I can let you know how this is with 265/75R16's once I get my truck back.

Regearing is always a good choice with or without a supercharger.

i am running 285 70 17 with km2 MT's currently, starting out is sluggish as hell, and i knew this was going to happen before i was lifted and upgraded to bigger tires, when i had 265 75 16 on stock rims i was moving along just fine. now i am just worried about wear and tear on clutch and transmission in the long run. maybe i will re-gear 1st then decide after that, should have my rear bumper and tire bed mount by then. all the weight i have added with front bumper/winch and sliders. Not really a neccessity for supercharger but dam> having one would sure be sweet as hell!!!!

Yeah 265s are as big as id go on these trucks without a regear... stock 4.10s are low, but not that low. 33s and a regear is something I might do when the taco is no longer my dd.

After the regear you may still want the blower though :D

I can throw in my two cents on this (since I just got done with a whole run around).

4.56 is your best answer. The rear ends are 28 spline axles so IMHO I would NOT run anything bigger than a 33'' tire even if you re geared to 4.88 (which is what my truck was at, and that had to go). With 4.88's I was smacking the governor at 85mph @ 3700 rpms....yeah no bueno so 4.10's went back in. 31'' tires btw.

    For 4.56
Pros: You'll feel like your truck accelerates now, you can spin a 33'' tire
    Cons: Interstate travel.

Gas mileage will change but that (like always) depends on your right foot.

I know that's kind of a broad 2 cents, but hope that helps.

Stidham that sucks man! I was a fan of your truck too, at least you're ok.

As for the S/C, id really like to see some acceleration vids, 0-60 maybe a WOT run 30-100 if the owner permits. Lettuce be cereal that's what we all want to see. That's how I'm going. to be driving at least. Id just like to know if its worth it, nom sayin?

It won't be representative on my truck (the test truck), it's a 4x4 access cab with stock TRD sport (so wide) tires.

This is a reason Gadget would like somebody with a stock 5-lug to get the kit and do a dyno.

However, it does add in the vicinity of a hundred ponies. Got anything else that'll come close? Whether that is worth it is subjective. :p
