Did we get an answer if anyone did this to a 2012+ yet? Will everything still work with a Pre-09 ECU?

I don’t think any of the 12+s have tried, we just have Kris'10 and my 11 working. I would love to see the 12+s get URD upgradeable!!

Me too! Gotta wait for the truck fund to fill back up! Got most of my performance stuff set up now, Just need headers installed and fuel pump and I think I'll be happy for a bit. Now the money train is heading towards suspension, once all that is taken care of, I can swing back towards more HP :D

Yeah? no mas ehh. I just need a tune.. my truck runs so damn rich.. just want to make sure its running optimally.

but.. I also want to go with larger injectors and a smaller pulley.. so I'll probably just do it all at once.

Does anyone know if a 2009-2012 MK3 supercharger kit will work on a 2006 Tacoma? kinda the other way around from what he did. There’s a good deal locally.

Mechanically yes, everything will be fine. However the UCON (if supplied) will not work with the older 2005-2008 ECU connectors. The 2009+ trucks use a different connector.

If you go with a reflash to tune the truck however, you could recoup some of your cost of the kit and pay for the tune potentially.
