US Acoustics USX 800F

so I tried googling this amps specs ... I keep finding reviews about it. finally found it on ampguts.com BUT here is where I am confused. I got the amp, and from what it says on ampguts is that it takes four 10a fuses, which is weird. The one I bought has four 30a fuses which is more believable imo. This amp is built on one of the old ZED boards (which I hear is GREAT), does 300wx2 @ 4, 400wx2 @2, and 800w bridged @ 4 ... ergo why the four 30a's are believable, that four 10a's to get 800w doesn't make sense to me.

So ... anyone know the real fuses that are supposed to be on here, there isn't any markings (like how some amps have what fuse it takes).

Agree, four 10amp fuses (or even 15) isn't going to carry the water for 800 Watts at 12.9 volts. The only thing I could suggest is to contact them direct and see if they have any records on the older stuff they are willing to share.

seems legit, usually trust Crutchfield too. Still ... only 60a??? I had a DHD that pumped out 550w and it had a HUGE ass 60a fuse (single fuse slot).
