I actually remember people getting yelled at during BMT for calling it a chow hall instead of the D-FAC or "dining facility" .... LMAO

Someone either needs to cultivate a sense of humor or seek therapy!

Could be TBI from impacting your brain housing group while diving behind those ARMY Guys who gave you, your precious little ribbons.

Don't get me wrong some of the biggest baddest coolest guys, I've ever had the pleasure of meeting were Airforce.

I would not want to trash them in the least.

But most of them were STS guys, PJ's, FAC, CCT or pilots.

None of which would even consider whining like you.

    Like I said:
***Im not here to be a party pooper just dont enjoy being called something I know I am not***

I have no problem with people poking fun at other services....I really dont care what you think you know, I know what Ive done.

Maybe you've heard of A1C Jacobson? SSgt Self? Chavez? All AIRMAN who died during combat patrols in Iraq, working with the Army not behind them.

Great post. All service jokes are just that...jokes. Most AF guys I know would be the first to laugh at stuff like this. Everyone serves their purpose and at the end of the day, I consider each and every one of them my brothers or sisters in arms, regardless of branch.

    Relax and enjoy the humor!

That is pretty funny, you had me cracking up. I will say I do like staying in a hotel (sometimes 5 star depending on where I go), when i go tdy. The Air Force has stepped up their game though. There are pros and cons about every branch. I will say though, I deploy just as much as most army. Im not gone as long as a time, but I go more than once a year plus tdys whenever. What did I read a few months back that the army was adding gaming to their pt tests soon??:p

    Had to sell 'em all
When I was in TQ the AF guys there were just a small detachment working the 60k cargo loaders on the airfield ...which happened to be the one spot on base where mortars could actually reach inside the wire. Those guys were fired upon on a weekly to monthly basis while my company was on the other side of the base way inside the comfort zone. Can't say I ever saw too many "baddass" AF guys but then again, they didn't need to be. Their job didn't require it. I give full credit to the AF guys that served and died right along side Army dogs as combat air controllers. Those guys get far less love than they deserve.

Army guys, well, whole time I was in, everywhere we went they seemed to have a stick up their ass about Marines. Never understood why. Then they'd show up at 2330 with a blown master light switch and have no support from their Army brethren and still need to get back out to Falujah by morning. We didn't hassle 'em one bit and gladly hooked 'em up. Imagine that...

Another sidenote, I was screwin around on the share drive one night over there and found a powerpoint briefing the AF detachment had put together for their higher command where they (quite bluntly) stated "The supporting Marine command, CLR-15 has proven to be of more help than our own parent command at Al-Assad." :D CLR-15 was my unit.

We talk shit, we fuck around, at the end of the day, some boys take that inter-service rivalry stuff WAY too seriously *cough* Army recruiters talking to former Marines *cough*

I never got too stupid about. I just like to help people and build camaraderie no matter what. Hence why I was a support pog. Never know when you're gonna be out of supplies and need to run to the other side of the base and ask the Army dogs or SeaBees for help. Never could understand how some of my boys would react and talk smack when other branches came to our compound asking for help. I hooked 'em up every time and told them, "just come by anytime if you guys need anything else." Then they'd drive off and the shit talkin would start

    One team, one fight brutha!

We have a service member right now that has failed to pass the m16 training twice and is scheduled to re-re-fire for a third time so they can deploy...i dont know about yall but I would not want someone in my unit that could not shoot a piece of paper at 25 yards
