I can find no information anywhere on the Internet about people using the same rim as the Back to the Future Toyota on a 3rd Gen. US Wheel Series 94. So I'm making this post for anyone else thinking the same as me and to also get any input. So, I jumped into some rims, 7" to match the factory wheel. 4" BS, no offset. When I mounted one it hit the brake caliper. Not surprised so I checked into spacer options. A 1/4" probably would have worked, but I also didn't want to lose that much thread engagement. So I ordered up some 1 1/4" spacers. Test fit that and it looks a bit ridiculous. The Series 94 rim sticks out 1" more than the factory steelie and with the spacer I'm sticking out 2 1/4" more.

First picture is factory rim with spacer (doesn't look too bad)
Second picture is Series 94 on the spacer (looks like it would be terrible with a tire)
    Thoughts or opinions?
I'm thinking I need to send everything back and get something else. I like the TRD rims that look similar, but don't want to be a poser.

You'll have some trimming of the fenders to do, but I like the idea

Bump. Anyone have pictures or opinions of 245 mounted wheels sticking out so far? I'm pretty sure it'll look silly but if there's any chance of this setup working I'd be a happy feller.

Could you possibly shave a bit off the caliper? I seen a guy take off some of the ridge off his caliper and worked out. Did you end up putting the tires on the series 94 rims? Thinking of doing the same to my BTTF truck remake.

I likely could have because it was damn close, but I just wasn't brave enough to do it. Still rocking the factory rims. You could probably take a disk grinder and knock about 1/8 off and be alright. I just can't say how much material there is for that or if it would void any warranties.

I am doing a Back to the Future remake with a 2017 Tacoma. I researched and found you can get the original BTTF rims US Wheel series 94 and fit on 16 inch rims. You have to get the 16x8 with 5" backspace and 13 offset. The wheel is series 94-7860p
